Three Formats — All Saying the Same Thing
Decimal odds are the simplest — multiply them by your stake to get the total return. For example, if team A's odds are 3.00, a ৳200 bet returns ৳600 — of which ৳400 is profit.
Fractional odds (2/1) mean ৳2 profit for every ৳1 staked. In the American format, plus (+200) means ৳200 profit on a ৳100 bet; minus (-125) means you need to stake ৳125 to make ৳100 profit.
Higher odds mean the outcome is considered less likely to happen — but the return is higher. Favourite teams have lower odds, so the profit is lower too.
